Job description: A great opportunity has opened up with our client in Sliema, Malta, for an Accountant who is specialized in PSP Accounting.
As a PSP Specialized Accountant, you will be the first point of contact both internally and externally for all things relating to financial reporting for the PSPs. You will report into the Accounting Lead, and will have a chance to also assist with other tasks within the financial reporting team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Upload all PSP transactions to Xero
- Verification of PSP charges
- PSP reconciliations, daily, weekly & monthly
- Daily monitering of PSP balances to ensure adequate levels per PSP
- First point of contact for PSP Account Managers for any transaction-related queries
- Liaise with the payments team prior to new PSPs to ensure all relevant information is shared internally, access set up, and up-to-date
- Ensure that PSPs comply with the agreed upon time-frames
- Assist with general bookkeeping-duties
- Assist with VAT-returns
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in accounting recognized within the EU
- 2 years’ experience of working as an accountant
- Min 12 months experience of working with PSP reporting
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong interpersonal and collaborations skills
- Ability to work largely unsupervised
- Aptitude for learning and delivering to top standards!
- Experience of working with Aurum Reconciliation Tool and Xero (not requierement but candidates with this experience will have precedence)

- The salary offered is between €30-€35K depending on experience
