We are looking for a motivated, hard-working Account Executive to join our client's accounting team. In this role, you will be part of a small and well-prepared accounting team of four, focusing on a portfolio of international clients operating across diverse industries. ABOUT OUR CUSTOMER

Our client is a fast-growing tax and law firm operating in the areas of financial services and international business, based in Birkirkara.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing accounting and bookkeeping services to a portfolio of trust and corporate clients.
  • Contacting customers and dealing with various inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration with clients' auditors.
  • Preparation and filing of client company financial statements, VAT returns and corporate income tax returns, where applicable.
  • Reconcile general bank accounts and subsidiary accounts by collecting and reconciling information.
  • Providing financial status information by providing reports.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of two years of relevant customer accounting experience in the corporate or financial services industry.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • An eye for detail and accuracy.

EDUCATION

Aim for an ACCA qualification or a university degree in accounting.

WORKING HOURS

Monday to Friday, starting from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., 40 hours per week with a 30 minute break every day.
