Job description: Our client, who provides health and care services, is looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their growing team:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, issue and review customer invoices in a timely manner
- Monitor overdue accounts and contact customers to ensure payment of outstanding amounts
- Reconcile payments and customer accounts regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments and account balances
- Prepare and provide regular accounts receivable status reports
- Maintain organized and current records of all customer transactions
- Archive and archive payment documents for audit purposes
Skills and requirements
- Previous on-site work experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Well organized and hardworking
Education and experience Ideally with a high school diploma in accounting
