Job description: The Hilton Malta Hotel is looking to recruit a full-time Conference and Events Manager to complement the Commercial Department, working primarily on residential group coordination.

The role includes;

  • Logistics and handling of events
  • Liaise with clients/group organizers to make necessary arrangements for events
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure events run smoothly
  • Timely organization and distribution of all administrative documents
  • Carrying out hotel tours
  • Look for ways to increase sales and conversions within the team
  • Focus on a consistently implemented up-selling approach
  • Participate in hotel promotional activities

Fluent written and spoken English skills are required; good knowledge of another language is an advantage.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for team members with operational or sales experience. The applicant must be a team player, able to work well with both the commercial team and the operations team, build strong relationships with customers and be proactive in finding innovative ways to generate revenue for the hotel. Knowledge of event planning and/or food and beverage is also required to ensure excellent execution of the events supervised.
