What is expected of you?
- Analyze employee performance and feedback on training needs
- Develop and implement training programs utilizing external vendors and funding opportunities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training using feedback and metrics and provide ongoing support for continuous learning
- Work with managers to achieve fair and transparent annual performance reviews
- Maintain performance review data in HRIS, review data, and track goals/deadlines
- Assist managers in developing and implementing performance improvement plans
- Develop and implement employee engagement and satisfaction strategies
- Coordinate engagement activities, collect feedback, and collaborate to improve the overall employee experience
- Providing resources and support for stress management, resilience and mental health awareness.
- Initiate well-being programs, evaluate their effectiveness, and adjust accordingly based on employee feedback.
- Handle day-to-day issues, respond to inquiries and assist colleagues with HR issues
- Prepare reports highlighting successes, challenges and opportunities for improvement
- If necessary, act for the HR manager when applying for a work permit
- Promote and maintain awareness of health and safety
What is expected of you?
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a relevant discipline
- Experience in developing and delivering learning and development programs
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and best practices related to employee development
- Basic understanding of budgeting principles and financial management practices
- Experience interviewing stakeholders across all positions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Basic Maltese verbal communication/understanding
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
