Job description: Our client, an established insurance company, is looking for a Junior Investments Executive to join its dynamic team.
The successful candidate will join an established team of experienced investment professionals; You will be directly involved in day-to-day investment management functions and the management of investment portfolios in accordance with investment guidelines, risk profile and investment objectives. This is a varied role and the selected candidate may be required to assist with the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Reporting
- Coordination with fund managers and custodian banks
- Coordination with the back office
- Development and maintenance of management tools
- Monitoring exposures and risks within the portfolios.
Skills and requirements
- Degree in Finance, Banking, Mathematics or Statistics with a keen interest in investing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Be a good team player
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibilities over time.
