Job description: One of our customers is looking for a maintenance technician to join their team. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment, including filling machines and blow molding machines, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and improve overall production efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and manage maintenance needs
- Use of technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair machines and equipment.
- Always ensure compliance with security standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
Skills and requirements
- Applicants must already be a resident of Malta and have the legal right to work in Malta
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Strong communication, technical and leadership skills
- Candidates must be mature, attentive, excellent communicators and problem-solvers
- Candidates must be independent and able to work independently and in a team
Teaching experience
- A minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment is a must
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to read technical diagrams and manuals are a must
- Applicants who have experience operating blow molding and filling machines will be preferred
- Preference will be given to applicants who have electrical licenses A and B
