Job description: Ryanair is currently recruiting a payroll specialist for Europe's largest airline group.
The successful candidate will work in our Dublin-based European payroll team where hard work, initiative and enthusiasm are part of the daily routine. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious candidate to work within a highly experienced payroll team, helping to create and deliver internal and outsourced payrolls. This is a busy and complex monthly payroll process for employees and crew that requires a high level of attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have strong time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure. You must be able to work on your own initiative while being an integral part of our team.

Requirements
The successful candidate will initially be responsible for Payroll/Social Security Compliance in Italy and will then progress to take on additional jurisdictions and other Group finance functions, creating opportunities for professional development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to meet tight deadlines and take responsibility for the role. In addition, they have the opportunity to take a leading role in other projects as business develops in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for multiple EMEA countries from start to finish
- Support system integrations between HR and global payroll systems, including resolving discrepancies
- Update payroll regarding salary changes for movements within the company
- Check the entry of information about new founders, e.g. B. Taxes, banking information, etc.
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals
- Assist with work on current expansion projects and ad hoc reporting as required
- Test new deployments, system enhancements, system updates, and integrations that impact Global Payroll
- Prepare and process spreadsheets for variable payments/deductions
- Prepare spreadsheets and load them into payroll in bulk
- Assist with internal controls and procedures, including documentation and testing
- Prepare third party payments · Participate in various payroll projects and other opportunities as assigned
This is what we are looking for:
- At least 2 years of payroll experience
- The ability to work in a team
- Candidates who have experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll have a clear advantage.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including advanced Excel skills
- An efficient and methodical work ethic – accuracy and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to meet deadlines, strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
- Flexible working style and the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing work requirements
- Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours if required
Ideal candidate:
Experience in carrying out Italian withholding tax and social security calculations. Excellent analytical skills are essential. The candidate should demonstrate a high level of initiative, strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
