Job description: We have an exciting role for a Player Protection Manager to join our client in their Maltese offices. As our client's organization is rapidly expanding and growing, they are actively looking for a dedicated Player Protection Manager in Malta to become a valuable member of their team. Reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance, this department works tirelessly to maintain a safe and responsible gaming environment. Her focus is on ensuring regulatory compliance and efficiently managing and mitigating risks in the online gaming industry. Collaboration with the Fraud and Risk department is also an important aspect of this role.
Your main responsibilities as a Player Protection Manager in Malta include:
- Identify potential addictive behavior and take appropriate action, including account suspension and further review
- Investigate suspicious accounts internally and externally and ensure thorough analysis, tracking and record keeping
- Conduct customer audits and request KYC documents for regulatory compliance
- Suggest improvements to existing policies and procedures
- Stay up to date on responsible gambling regulations, policies, procedures and best practices
- Provide professional support for escalated customer inquiries
- Proactively follow up on previously escalated cases
- Conduct employee training on responsible gambling practices and insights from customer information
- Develop and implement customer intelligence strategies for improved customer experience and business growth
- Collect and analyze customer data from various sources including surveys, CRM systems and web analytics
- Identify trends and patterns in customer data to gain actionable insights for risk reduction and responsible gambling
Requirements for this Player Protection Manager job in Sliema:
- 5-8+ years of experience in customer intelligence and data analysis
- Previous experience in a similar role (responsible gaming and/or customer information) in the online gambling industry
- Experience building and leading a global team in responsible gaming, customer intelligence and analytics
- Experience identifying potential addictive behavior and taking appropriate action
- Familiarity with global online regulations and responsible gambling practices (MGA – Malta Gaming Authority preferred)
