Your playing field
- They drive the creation and maintenance of the regulatory implementation framework, including documentation and risk mitigation measures, and remain one step ahead of federal and state laws relating to the betting industry and its products.
- Thorough testing of new and existing products ensures compliance with relevant regulations, particularly Gambling, RG and AML.
- You will research regulatory compliance concerns for new products or adapted products, coordinate and communicate results to involved stakeholders and production teams.
- They monitor applicable regulations and ensure that the company, partners and retail network are fully aware of internal policies, guidelines and processes.
- Provide critical external documentation consistent with internal policies, quality criteria and timelines.
- Act as an internal advisor by sharing insights and information on regulatory and compliance issues and the implementation of regulatory requirements.
- You actively contribute to the effectiveness of the compliance management system.
Qualifications
What skills should you bring to the field?
- Qualification. You have a bachelor's or master's degree in law.
- Experience. You have a few years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the gaming industry or another highly regulated industry, and are confident in implementation law.
- Linguistic proficiency. English is the official language in our Malta office, so fluency in English is essential. As the No. 1 sports betting provider in Germany, knowledge of German is also essential.
- Igaming. A good understanding of our industry and our products is an advantage.
- Personal responsibility and initiative. As an expert in the field, you take full responsibility for the decisions made and are fully responsible for your projects and drive them forward to achieve compliance.
- Cooperation. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure relevant regulations are followed and accurate advice is provided.
- Customer-centric mindset. You deliver solutions taking into account the satisfaction of our customers and the regulatory framework.
