
A private settlement reached between Malta Developers’ Association President Michael Stivala and a group of residents objecting to his Townsquare development has introduced a new chapter in one of Malta’s most closely watched planning disputes. The agreement, dated 7 January and reviewed by this publication, confirms that Stivala has agreed to amend a contested planning application by removing a proposed hotel element.
