The dealer (Euro Sports) will manage the Euro Team sports betting offer (ice hockey, volleyball, handball and winter sports) (pre-event and in-game) for which it will be deployed across all Betclic brands and regulated markets – to ensure maximum profitability for the company and to ensure an excellent customer experience.
The incumbent will be required to undertake the first level of sports quality control to ensure that the betting offering (provider controlled and manual) remains to the required standard. As part of this duty, the expectation is to lead communications with external providers and/or (any) other third parties that require reporting and feedback on the sports betting offering.
YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC
Your tasks in this context are:
- Follow short- and long-term strategy instructions and provide feedback relevant to each sport. Ensure customers receive excellent quality of service by offering competitive coverage and pricing across the entire sports offering.
- Ensuring that all Euro Sports content, features and promotions (for which you are engaged) are displayed correctly on the Website.
- Ensure that the brand(s) meets the legal, regulatory and revenue requirements set by the various authorities.
- Communicate regularly with the Heads of Sport, Head of Commercial and all other SPO vertical leads (Strategy/Product/Risk) to adopt departmental strategy and drive progress.
- Maintain dialogue with non-commercial departments (Marketing, Compliance, CS, UX, Dev, etc.) to align projects, developments, strategies and procedures.
- Conduct appropriate (solicited and proactive) research and analysis for your sport(s), with timely commentary and reports on trends, changes and statistical analysis of sports/events/markets to identify deficiencies/deficiencies in our offering.
- Actively comment on trading tools and processes, test products in stage and production environments, address BO and FO issues and make suggestions for improvement.
- Analyzing client activity with a view to protecting sustainable profit margins across all trading activities – you will be expected to maintain regular and accurate communication with the profiling team and follow departmental policies regarding risk communication.
- Integration and management of third-party providers in line with business needs and departmental strategy.
- Continuously review current configurations and risk management settings and provide suggestions to the Sport Director(s).
- Extend an automated offer with manual and non-vendor-controlled offers, both pre-event and in the IP
- Ensure resulting tasks are covered in a timely manner and response to customer service/VIP teams remains at a high level.
- Follow all departmental and company procedures and policies relating to commercial procedures, risk management, roster composition, holiday booking, sickness and absence. If appropriate or relevant procedures/policies are missing, you should report this to your manager.
- Familiarize yourself with the T&Cs of all sports, understand the compliance restrictions of all traded sports and escalate any issues that arise.

- You have trading experience (essential).
- You have a good knowledge of some of the following sports: ice hockey, volleyball, handball and winter sports.
- They have an understanding of fixed odds, betting exchanges and betting principles.
- Depending on business needs and sporting calendar, you will be able to work outside of working hours (weekends/evenings/holidays).
- You have experience dealing with third-party trading providers.
- You have a good command of English and excellent communication skills.
- You have strong mathematical skills and good analytical/statistical skills.
- You are organized and skilled at multitasking.
- You are able to question ideas and approaches.
- You have in-depth knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Excel).
- You have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to think clearly, methodically and logically under pressure.
- You have an ambitious and diverse attitude and a strong passion for the sports betting industry.
