We are looking for a passionate and dedicated sports dealer specializing in football to join our growing sports betting division in Malta.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of football and have proven experience in sports betting.
The candidate should be enthusiastic, versatile and able to challenge themselves and integrate quickly into a dynamic team.

YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC
Your tasks in this context are:
- Report directly to the Head of Football.
- Trading the football product before the event and in the game.
- Manage liabilities and risk management across a variety of betting markets.
- Providing an industry-leading betting product across regulated and unregulated markets.
- Ability to study, execute and critique a dynamic trading strategy.
- Odds compilation of special and novelty markets in addition to a standard betting offer.
- Can understand and expand automated vendor trading.
- Conduct appropriate research and analysis of trading activities and improve trading performance (P&L).
- Collaborate with other internal teams and departments: Marketing, VIP, Customer Service.
- Process markets quickly and accurately as needed.
- Monitor and analyze client activity and report to the Client Risk Management team.
- Deal with technical or processing issues and other incidents affecting the Company's operations.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This job is for you if:
- You have trading experience (essential) – at least 5 years in a sports betting role (preferably football).
- You have a good knowledge of football (events/teams/players) and the football betting market.
- They have an understanding of fixed odds, betting exchanges and betting principles.
- Depending on business needs and sporting calendar, you will be able to work outside of working hours (weekends/evenings/holidays).
- You have experience dealing with third-party trading providers (e.g. BetRadar/BetGenius).
- You have strong mathematical skills and good analytical/statistical skills.
- You are organized and skilled at multitasking.
- You are able to question ideas and approaches.
- You have a good command of English and excellent communication skills.
- You have in-depth knowledge of MS Office programs (especially Excel).
- You have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to think clearly, methodically and logically under pressure.
- You are able to work in a team or, if necessary, act alone.
- You have an ambitious and diverse attitude and a strong passion for the sports betting industry.
