Filipino artists celebrated at SiGMA Asia 2026 charity auction

Charity and contemporary culture clashed at the Conrad Hotel in Manila on Friday night, as the SiGMA Asia 2026 auction brought together iGaming industry leaders and philanthropists for an evening of competitive bidding in support of charitable initiatives. 

Hosted by Rick Goddard alongside the SiGMA Asia 2026 awards, the auction featured a curated selection of artworks and memorabilia that highlighted both emerging Filipino talent and globally recognised icons.

Auction 1: Sold for €2,500 to Z-Gaming

The evening opened with a high-profile collectible: an authenticated signed photograph of Cristiano Ronaldo lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy following Real Madrid’s 2016 triumph in Milan.

Donated by The Power Plugin, the piece drew immediate interest from sports collectors and fans, ultimately selling for €2,500 to Growtier.

Auction 2: Sold for €2,500 to malta-media.com 

Bidding continued with Disorder of Time by award-winning Filipino artist Emil Guiang. The surrealist work depicts a clock-headed figure surrounded by distressed animals and fading flora, serving as a stark commentary on humanity’s detachment from nature.

The piece was sold for to €2,500 to malta-media.com following a competitive exchange among bidders.

Auction 3: Sold for €2,000 to NLA Liberia 

Bell Sison’s Hello Kitten, a metallic pink sculpture crafted from upcycled materials, brought a playful yet technically refined presence to the auction floor.

The contemporary piece, reflecting Sison’s signature fusion of engineering precision and artistic storytelling, fetched €2,000 acquired by NLA Liberia.

Auction 4: Sold for €3,000 to NLA Liberia 

Next under the hammer was Lucky Knot by multidisciplinary artist Ian Inoy. Featuring his recurring figure Fu Bear intertwined with the Endless Knot motif, the work symbolises eternity, resilience, and enduring connection.

The painting was secured for by €3,000 to NLA Liberia, continuing a strong showing for symbolic contemporary works.

Auction 5: Sold for €2,500 to OneHazel 

Arvin R. Rabot’s Twin Dragons of Wealth was next, commanding the crowd’s attention with its depiction of two golden arowanas emerging from darkness.

The striking composition sold for €2,500 to OneHazel, reinforcing Rabot’s growing profile in the regional art scene.

Auction 6: Sold for €4,500 to Finera  

Closing the auction was Establish the Harmony by Jono Duran Pisano, a work balancing movement and stillness through everyday scenes of a duck prepared for market and a fisherman awaiting his catch.

The piece achieved a final bid of €4,500 purchased by Finera.

Organisers said the auction once again demonstrated the power of collective giving across the SiGMA community, with proceeds supporting a range of charitable initiatives spanning education, healthcare and community development.
