SiGMA Foundation launches nationwide telethon to transform lives across the globe

The SiGMA Foundation will come together with local communities, businesses, philanthropists, and supporters on 5th July 2026 for a day of giving, launching Together We Can | SiGMA Foundation (Flimkien Nistgħtu | SiGMA Foundation).

The event will be broadcast live from 11 am to 11 pm (GMT). It will provide an opportunity for viewers to see the Foundation’s humanitarian initiatives taking place throughout the world, while also raising funds to support the implementation of life-changing projects in the world’s most impoverished communities.

Together We Give is much more than just a fundraiser; it is a celebration of collaboration. It will demonstrate to donors and organisations alike how they can work together to create a positive impact where it is desperately needed.

A day dedicated to global impact

The telethon will give viewers a compelling account of the international projects implemented by SiGMA Foundation, taking them on a journey to hear firsthand from beneficiaries, volunteers, expedition participants, and project leaders who have witnessed their results.

The programme will also provide insight into specific initiatives carried out in the Philippines, Uganda, Guatemala, Peru and Ethiopia, as well as an in-depth understanding of how communities have dramatically changed their lives through education, medical care, infrastructure projects and empowerment programmes.

The telethon will also focus on the many different types of projects you could support, from school expansion and community centre projects to medical facility upgrades, water filtration systems, disability support programmes, and women’s empowerment programmes, to name a few. Each segment of the telethon will feature compelling success stories from the field for each project type, helping the audience become familiar with each project and the people. They will also be able to see that these projects work; the donations made to support them have a direct impact on their continuation, and ongoing support for these communities is greatly needed.

Stories that inspire action

Viewers can expect a dynamic mix of documentary footage, live discussions, personal testimonies, and special broadcasts from project partners around the world.

The telethon will shine a spotlight on major initiatives including the expansion of educational facilities in Uganda, community development projects in the Philippines, healthcare and surgical support programmes in Guatemala, hospital and child welfare projects in Peru, and the continued growth of transformative initiatives in Ethiopia.

We will highlight the humanitarian legacies that individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others have built. We will show how these individual stories inspire us by demonstrating the strength of compassion and action for a specific purpose.

We will provide supporters with a description of the expeditions the Foundation has organised, in which volunteers have traveled to remote areas, delivered charitable assistance, built structures, and worked closely with the people there.

Bringing together Malta’s community

The telethon will feature a diverse lineup of hosts, guests, entertainers, business leaders, and public figures, all united by a common goal: raising funds to support projects that improve lives.

Throughout the day, prominent personalities, industry leaders, and long-standing supporters of the Foundation will join the broadcast, helping drive fundraising efforts through live pledges, matching challenges, and donor appeals.

A dedicated Industry Hour will bring together leaders from Malta’s business community to discuss corporate responsibility and encourage organisations to contribute towards ambitious fundraising targets.

Live entertainment will feature performances from respected Maltese artists and musicians, creating an engaging atmosphere while encouraging viewers to support the cause.

Every donation creates change

Donations received from this telethon will be applied directly toward projects that create positive, long-lasting change, with the potential to increase educational opportunities for kids, expand access to health care, improve community infrastructure around the world, or help families and children in vulnerable situations.

The audience will also receive live updates on how much money has been raised throughout the telethon, so viewers can see which milestones have been achieved and which goals still need to be met to unlock new opportunities for communities around the world.

Join the movement

The SiGMA Foundation invites the public, corporate partners, philanthropists, and supporters from across Malta and beyond to take part in this extraordinary day of giving.

Together We Give | SiGMA Foundation is more than a telethon. It is an opportunity to become part of a global movement driven by generosity, hope, and a shared commitment to improving lives.

Mark your calendars for 5 July 2026, tune in, get involved, and help create a brighter future for communities across the world.
