Over the weekend, Malta’s judiciary welcomed the appointment of three new magistrates and the promotion of a serving magistrate to the bench of the Superior Courts. Charmaine Galea was elevated from her role as a magistrate to that of a Judge while Patrick Valentino, Claudio Zammit and Franca Giordmaina were sworn in as magistrates of the Inferior Courts.
