Prior to Affiliate Marketing

In May 2016, new FDA regulations affected electronic cigarettes and eliquids, making it difficult for the Vapor Industry to advertise directly on major platforms like Google and Facebook. To increase revenue and attract more clients, the Company decided to invest in Affiliate Marketing Management services. That’s when they came to us.

Our Approach

After thoroughly studying their product and considering all aspects, we suggested that they join the ShareASale Network. As they had never worked with the network before, we started with the initial setup, adding creative inventory like banners, coupon codes, text links, and email responders. We even provided a discount on feature program categories that would be profitable to the brand’s promotion on the ShareASale Network.

To ensure a successful campaign, we created a Time Line Activity Chart that outlined promotional activities to be conducted periodically. We provided the affiliates with various creative banners, offers, and discounts as per holiday and event promotions, which were constantly updated through newsletters and personalized emails.

Our efforts paid off, and the brand now has approximately 500+ affiliates in their campaign. We even leveraged relationships with other bloggers and top-performing affiliates to achieve the weekly target, which helped us bring the brand into the TOP 350 merchant list of ShareASale Network.

Affiliate Program Performance in Network

Below is the graph which shows the performance of the brand, which has improved drastically in the coming years resulted in increased level of traffic from the targeted audience as well as number of sales generated from them.

In just the first month, we completed the initial setup and had around 50+ affiliates on board, generating sales for the brand.

By the end of 2016, the affiliate count had increased to approximately 200+, and the sale conversion ratio had increased by 5.45%.
