There are many things I would expect from a consumer social media platform. I would expect noise, weak moderation, strange decisions, automated support and a general feeling that nobody is really responsible when something goes wrong. That may not be good, but it is also not surprising. People use platforms such as Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or X for different reasons, and many of those reasons are casual, personal or entertainment-driven.
